Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony
On June 12th, under a sky full of excitement and pride, Royal American School hosted its heartwarming Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony. The event began with a warm welcome to esteemed guests, including Mr. Musabah Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Mrs. Rania Sabry, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Parents, teachers, and the school community gathered to celebrate the achievements of our youngest graduates.
The ceremony was beautifully presented in both English by Grade 11 student Hala Fayez and in Arabic by Arabic teacher Ms. Sara. It opened with the UAE National Anthem and the Loyalty Oath, proudly performed by the students. Afterward, a moving Qur’an recitation brought calm and grace to the event, followed by a special science video that showcased how KG2 students explored their updated science curriculum with curiosity and enthusiasm.
Each KG2 class lit up the stage with joyful performances of songs, dances, and art — an authentic display of creativity and growth: in a heartfelt moment, KG2 students handed over the flag to KG1 students, passing on a legacy of learning, pride, and new beginnings.
Touching speeches by Principal Ms. Maritza and Kindergarten Head Ms. Aseel Abu Salameh reflected immense pride in the children’s journey: a heartfelt video featuring parents sharing their experiences followed, highlighting the strong bond between families and the school.
As all the graduates sang their final song, emotions ran high — with proud smiles, clapping hands, and a few happy tears. The ceremony concluded with group photos, special thanks to the board and teachers, and a behind-the-scenes video capturing some of the beautiful moments.
It was a truly unforgettable day — a perfect reminder of how every end is just the start of a new beginning.
(Special thanks to Ms. Aseel and all the KG staff for creating such a magical celebration.)
