Our school recently hosted its much anticipated Business Day, a dynamic event where students put their entrepreneurial skills to the test. Unlike other school events filled with activities or presentations, Business Day was all about selling. Each group, consisting of five students, was responsible for running its own mini business, competing to generate the highest revenue. The competition wasn’t just about profit it was about strategy, teamwork, and a little friendly rivalry. Friends formed their own groups, each trying to outdo the others in sales. From food stalls to creative products, everyone was eager to attract customers and maximize their earnings. The motivation behind our participation was simple: earning marks for our economics class. But beyond academics, the experience taught us valuable lessons about marketing, pricing, and customer interaction. The atmosphere was lively and supportive, with students not just competing but also generously buying from each other. By the end of the day, some groups walked away with impressive revenues, while others learned what could be improved next time. Regardless of the final numbers, Business Day was a memorable experience that combined learning with real world business exposure. It was a day of teamwork, strategy, and most importantly fun.
