A Night to Remember: The Royal American School Graduation Ceremony
The Royal American School recently celebrated a momentous occasion — the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025. Held with elegance and emotion, the event brought together students, families, teachers, and staff to honor the hard work, growth, and achievements of the senior class.
The evening began with inspiring student speeches, delivered by Yumna Alfares and Yousef Sarmad. Both speakers expressed gratitude to the school community and resilience, and inspiration. Their speeches resonated deeply with the audience, striking the perfect balance of support, emotion, and wisdom.
After the speeches were concluded, everyone stood in reverence for the national anthem and flagged salute to our beloved nation, The United Arab Emirates. This was then followed by the solemn and respectful recitation from the Holy Quran, setting a spiritual and thoughtful tone for the celebration.
A warm welcome was delivered by the school’s beloved principal, Ms. Maritza, whose heartfelt speech reflected on the students’ journey and encouraged them to embrace the future with courage, kindness, and determination. Her words reminded everyone that while this was a farewell, it was also a powerful beginning.
A touching senior video montage followed, showcasing unforgettable moments from the students’ time at the Royal American School — from classroom memories to extracurricular adventures. Laughter and tears filled the room as everyone reflected on how far the graduates had come.
In a meaningful symbolic gesture, the passing of the torch ceremony took place, signifying the handing over of leadership and legacy to the upcoming senior class.
To celebrate cultural pride and unity, A folkloric group performed a traditional Dabkeh, which energized the crowd and reminded everyone of the strength found in heritage and togetherness.
Then came the most anticipated part of the evening — the conferral of graduation certificates. One by one, the seniors walked the stage, beaming with pride as they received their diplomas, marking the culmination of years of effort and dedication.
The ceremony concluded with a joyful celebration, full of smiles, hugs, photos, and music. It was a night of emotions — bittersweet farewells and hopeful new beginnings.
The Royal American School Graduation Ceremony was more than an event; it was a powerful tribute to a journey completed and a future waiting to be written. Congratulations to the Class of 2025 — your story is just beginning.
